Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026 · Data controller: Trioo Prints Ltd ("UK3D Hub", "we")
1. What we collect
Account data: email address and authentication records. Business data you enter: manufacturer profile (business name, address, contact details, signatory), products, materials, printers, test results, and the photos and evidence documents you upload. Billing: subscriptions are processed by Stripe — we store your subscription status and Stripe identifiers, never your card details. Preferences: price alerts you set.
2. Cookies and local storage
We use only strictly necessary browser storage — the kind required to provide the service you have asked for. Specifically:
- Authentication: your signed-in session is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in between pages and visits. Clearing it signs you out.
- Draft autosave: while you fill in a product, an unsaved working copy is kept in your browser's local storage so you don't lose your work if the page reloads. It stays on your device.
We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Because the storage above is strictly necessary, no cookie-consent banner is required under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). If we ever add optional analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
3. Why we process it (lawful bases)
To provide the service you contracted for (contract); to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests); to meet accounting obligations (legal obligation). Compliance documents you issue are retained immutably because faithful reproduction of issued legal documents is the core purpose of the service.
4. Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase in the EU (Ireland region). Payments are processed by Stripe. The website is served by Cloudflare. Each processor acts under its own data-processing terms; we do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
5. Retention
Account and library data are kept while your account exists. Uploaded evidence linked to an issued document is locked while that document exists (regulatory retention for technical documentation is typically 10 years and rests with you as manufacturer). If you delete your account, personal data is removed except where law requires retention.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Contact us at the address below to exercise any right.
